Our Mission
Mission Statement
Lambda Upsilon Xi Sorority, Inc. is a non-collegiate, inter-generational sisterhood devoted to empowering women and girls to walk boldly in purpose, excellence, and grace. We are committed to advancing communities through impactful service, promoting educational excellence, and cultivating bold, compassionate leaders across generations.
Through our Legacy Lilies youth division, we mentor and guide girls ages 5 to 17, helping them flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. We uphold the values of scholarship, self-development, and sisterhood, creating spaces where members of all ages can thrive in confidence and character.
We are Glamour Girls—unapologetically powerful, fiercely fashionable, and destined for greatness. Where beauty meets brilliance, we lead with purpose, live with passion, and leave legacies that last.

Our History
Founded on April 4, 2025, Lambda Upsilon Xi Sorority, Inc. was established in Charlotte, North Carolina by four visionary women: LaDeidra Williams, Carla Grier, Tiffany Shepard, and Felicia Quinton. United by a passion for sisterhood, leadership, and legacy, they created a glamorous yet powerful space for women 25 and up to grow, serve, and reign with purpose.
Built on the pillars of service, scholarship, and self-development, the sorority also launched the Legacy Lilies Youth Division, mentoring girls ages 5–17 to walk in excellence early.
From our bold colors—Fuchsia, Violet, Ivory, Rich Black, and Gold—to our cheetah symbol and damask pink rose, Lambda Upsilon Xi stands as “The Standard. The Statement. The Sisterhood.”
Our Programs
At Lambda Upsilon Xi Sorority, Inc., we don’t just wear crowns—we create impact. Our signature programs are designed to empower women and girls through education, mentorship, leadership development, and community service.
1. Legacy Lilies Youth Division
Our premier youth mentorship program for girls ages 5–17. Legacy Lilies focuses on character building, academic achievement, etiquette, financial literacy, cultural pride, and leadership training. Members must maintain a C average or higher to remain active.
2. Glamour & Growth Workshops
Monthly empowerment sessions for adult members focused on business building, financial wellness, health & beauty, leadership training, and spiritual development through Bible study. These sessions nurture the total woman—mind, body, and spirit.
3. Cheetahs in Action: Community Service Initiative
Our members serve with heart and heels on the ground. From volunteering, drives, and advocacy work to outreach events that support women, children, and underserved communities—we believe in service that leaves a sparkle.
4. Scholarship & Excellence Program
Providing annual scholarships to Legacy Lilies and college-bound young women who demonstrate academic success, leadership, and community involvement.
5. Boss Moves Business Network
A program that promotes entrepreneurship and economic empowerment by connecting our members with resources, spotlights, and funding opportunities to grow their brands and businesses.
